Channel Changes in March 2024
In March 2024, there have been numerous channel changes which will require a TV retune. These changes include ITV4+1 moving from channel 89 to 93, Together TV+1 will be moving from channel 92 to 90, Pop is now channel 205 previously being 206, Pop Max is moving from 208 to channel 206, and lastly Pop Player is now 208, previously being channel 212.

TV tuning is the process of manually updating your television box to rearrange TV channels. This is required when changes are made to broadcasters make important changes to their channels. TV retuning ensures that you can watch the most up-to-date channels and find your favourite channel with no interruptions if it has been moved.
For many Freeview devices, the retuning process is automated but if your device doesn’t retune automatically, you may need to do this manually. Retuning your TV is a simple process, although the steps may slightly vary depending on your device.
How to Retune your TV
- Press “Menu” on your TV remote or set-up box
- Navigate to the “set up” option or something similar, it may also be under “installation” or “update”
- If a password is required, the default is typically 1234 or 0000
- Click “first time installation” or something similar which may also be “factory reset”, “full retune” or “default settings”
- Press “OK” if your equipment asks if you can delete existing channels
- If the option is given, save the channels that are found
- Your TV device should now be fully retuned
After you have tuned your television, your scheduled recordings or favourite programmes may be deleted which may require you to check and reset them. However, any recordings you have made prior should still be there. If you have any issues you should check your user manual or contact the manufacturer.
